Dear all, there is a great Balkan party happening this coming Friday in BROOKLYN NY.

Here is friday's schedule:

7:30 pm – Dance workshop w live music by Gogofski, ZU and Pontic Firebird
8:30 pm – Dance party
8:45 pm – Zlatne Uste Brass Band – originators and hosts of the festival
9:45 pm – West Philadelphia Orchestra — Balkan brass
10:20 pm – Gogfski from Boston – Macedonian dance music
10:50 pm – Pontic Firebird — Western Pontic Greek dance music from the Black Sea of Turkey featuring Beth Bahia Cohen – violin, Adam Good – oud, Paul Brown – acoustic bass, Jerry Kisslinger – daouli
11:25 pm – Kavala Brass Band — Northern Greek and beyond featuring Lefteris Bournias on the fret-less clarinet
11:55 pm – Veveritse Brass Band — Dance music from or inspired by the Romani brass bands of the BalkansIdea!Idea!Idea!

it was like 500 people dancing Balkan dances!! Amazing party!
