We have lost the father of the clarinet. Laver Bariu is known to be the "Genie of the clarinet". Both the Albanian and clarinet community will be very sad. He has influenced and invented a unique style of tune that have been used by thousands and thousands of clarinet players. His love of Albanian folk music made he want to play the clarinet. His work for the Albanian folk music industry is outstanding. A true master of the clarinet.
He is known for playing the amazing "Kaba" a lovely instrumental song from Southern Albania.
