Clarinet artist Mustafa Kandıralı (90) died in Istanbul as a result of organ failure due to aging. Kandıralı had been receiving treatment for heart and asthma ailments at Okan University Medical Faculty Hospital for 1.5 years.
Güneş Aybek, the grandson of Mustafa Kandıralı, said in a statement that his grandfather had been treated for heart and asthma for 1.5 years. Aybek stated that the artist died in the hospital where he was treated yesterday evening due to his old age.
Mustafa Kandıralı will be sent off on his last journey after the funeral prayer to be held in Zincirlikuyu Cemetery in the afternoon.
