Excellent documentary and beautiful scenery!!! Thanks Ramadan!
Ramadan, do you know any albanian clarinetists that you can ask them some questions?
I ll also start another subforum dedicated to Albanian Music Ramadan so we can post these things there! :-)

You're welcome. It's a lovely documentary. It's from Korçë, we sing like this too! I only know how to sing a few songs, hopefully I can learn more, more and more! So lovely singing. This is Albanian polyphonic singing from Korçë. I talk sometimes to Thoma Loli, but he is very busy as he travels a lot to do weddings, concerts and parties.

Tumankuqe means red long-dress. It refers to a Çam girl dancing so beautifully and about a boy that he falls for her aka love story ROFL Hard to explain the dance, it's specific yes.

You can see it at the start of this video. ALSO: you can see the red long dress! Cool

Whos is she Ramadan? Do you guys use a lot of clarinet in modern music?
Also I have been searching for years for an albanian song ..very slow beat...and all I can remember was that she was saying: biri biri... (which means my son?)
